"I can never think of my Grandma without visualising her in her blue dress. She loved that dress and rightly so. It suited her so well and made her blue eyes stand out. Perhaps there is some outfit your loved one wore that meant the same to you as my Grandma’s blue dress meant to me?"

Clothing and DressingOur staff take great care in having your loved one looking peaceful and at their very best before placing them in their casket, ready for viewing.
One of the first tasks you will need to perform is to choose the clothing they will wear for their final journey. You may choose to dress your loved one or we can do it for you. It may help you to make your decision if you think about how they felt in their clothes during their lifetime. The man who always complained about how ties pinched his neck and hated getting dressed up in a suit may not have wished to spend eternity in one. |
The woman who was always meticulously presented with not a hair out of place would probably have appreciated wearing her best dress on her final journey with her nails done.
We are lucky to have Jade Kyles as have a qualified hairdresser as part of our Team. Sometimes when your loved one has been ill they were not able to have their haircut before their passing. We can trim their hair and style to how they liked it. We feel it is important to have your loved one look as you remember them. |
